Dress Code

1)  Students must wear shoes or boots.  Boys will wear socks.

2)  No bare midriffs, sheer or transparent or revealing articles of clothing are allowed.  No jeans will holes are allowed.

3)  Any article of clothing advertising alcoholic beverages, drugs, or vulgar sayings is to be left at home.

4)  Shirts worn by boys must have sleeves and sleeves must be hemmed.  Sleeveless shirts or blouses may be worn by girls.

5)  Shirts designed for underwear are not to be worn without a regular shirt or blouse.

6)  Shorts/dresses must not be too short.  Shorts can only be 6 inches above the knee; dresses can only be 4 inches above the knee, when kneeling on the floor.  No gym shorts allowed (Umbro-style, etc.) (Grades 6-8)

7)  Head bands and bandannas are not allowed.

8)  Caps and hats are not allowed.  Shades are not to be worn inside the building.

9)  Boys are not allowed to wear earrings.  Girls can wear earrings in their ears only.  No student can have body rings or piercing.

10)  Extremely tight fitting clothes are not allowed.

11)  Jogging, warm-up pants, or wind suits can be worn only in P. E.

12)  Students cannot wear clothing inside out.

13)  Pants must be worn at the waist.  No slacking.

14)  Shirts designed to be tucked in, should be tucked in with a belt worn.

15)  Only chains purchased and suitable as jewelry are allowed.

The acceptability of any article of clothing will be left to the discretion of the Principal.  Students not in dress code will be sent home immediately to change.
