Mrs. Angie Pendarvis is teaching in Mrs. Huffman's place for the remainder of the year.
B.S.- Elementary/Special Education-LSU-S- 1975 M.ED.- Administration- LSU-S- 1979 Master's Degree Plus 30- LSU- 1984 I have been teaching for 29 years. Twenty-two of those years have been right here in LaSalle Parish. I have taught Special Education at GPMS, JJH, JHS, FES, and Nebo. I have also held the position of Infant Toddler Coordinator for the Parish. Of all the positions that I have held in the parish, I love my classroom at Nebo. Of course I have been here the longest and have taught some of my students since the second grade. I feel as though I have grown up with them. I believe it is important for education and school to be enjoyable. I feel that my attitude, my interest, and my excitement will influence my student's response to whatever I am teaching. I want structure in my classroom balanced with freedom. For it is the freedom that will allow my student's learning to be enjoyable as well as meaningful and purposeful. I will continue to strive everyday in my classroom to provide opportunities and open doors for my students that will allow each one of them to reach their full potential.
