I am Laura Eikert Bailey. I have lived in Jena since January of my third-grade year. Our town's welcome sign says, "Jena, a Nice Place to Call Home." I have found that to be true for my family and me. I am married to DeWayne Bailey and we have four wonderful daughters. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from L. S. U. at Alexandria in the spring of 1989. I began teaching first grade at Pollock Elementary in the fall of 1989. The following year I moved to fifth grade at Good Pine Middle where I remained until the fall of 2000. At that time, I transferred here to Nebo.
